Optimization Through Excel

Learned to optimize equations through Excel's add-on called Solver. It allows you to minimize or maximize your equation (function) with a set of variable constraints and known objectives.
For example:

In Excel the givens were inputted to be:

where g1-g3 are the constraint equations and f is the equation trying to be minimized. Excel can be programmed to input equations.

Then the add-on Solver is opened:

As shown B8 is selected to be minimized. Then the variable constraints are noted as x1-x5. Once this was done the equation constraints were set. After all the conditions were inputted the equation was solved.

The final variable constraints are shown in B10-B14 to be the final minimized optimized solution for the equation and the given parameters.
